Alpha Males Season 5 Age Rating & Parents Guide

Netflix rates Alpha Males TV-MA in the US and A (adults only) in India. Common Sense Media hasn’t reviewed the Spanish comedy, so this guide relies on Netflix’s own descriptions of the show and Season 5.

What parents should know:

• Romance and sex: the core of the comedy. This season’s storylines include disastrous dates, a foot-focused OnlyFans venture and a retreat to “recover” femininity, and Netflix’s episode guide mentions a couple seeing a sex therapist.
• Drinking: characters drink, according to a third-party parents’ guide.
• Themes: divorce, custody battles, money worries and four men struggling with changing ideas of masculinity.

Our guidance: suitable for ages 16+. It’s a grown-up comedy built around sex, dating and divorce, so it suits older teens and adults best.

Should You Watch It? Our Verdict

Verdict: Worth a try. A safe bet for fans who have followed the gang this far, though no critics have reviewed the new season yet.

All six episodes of Season 5 arrived on April 17, 2026, but Rotten Tomatoes still lists no critic reviews for it, so we’re going on how the series has been received overall. Season 1 holds a Rotten Tomatoes critics score of 84%, though from just three reviews. Pajiba found it sensitive and funny about how patriarchy hurts men as well as women, Spanish site Espinof gave it 3 out of 5, and Decider’s Joel Keller was cooler, finding it only just funny enough to keep going.

Netflix has already confirmed that a sixth season will be the last, so this is the penultimate run.

Watch it if you like:

• the first four seasons
• comedies about midlife crises
• satire about modern masculinity

Skip it if:

• you haven’t seen earlier seasons (start from Season 1)
• cringe comedy and sex jokes aren’t your thing
