About Flicks and Ratings

Flicks and Ratings follows new releases on Netflix in the US and India. When a trailer drops, we check the details against Netflix’s own title page and its Tudum news site, then write a guide you can read in a few minutes: when it arrives, who’s in it, what it’s about without spoilers, and how mature it is.

Parents use our age rating sections to decide what’s fine for the family. Each one explains the official rating for your country and what it actually covers, like violence, language or sexual content, and gives a simple “suitable for ages X+” line.

Our verdicts are based on what’s known: the trailer, the people behind it and reviews from festivals or critics. We never pretend to have watched something that isn’t out yet, and we update guides once a title starts streaming.
